But Pinca says - despite the quality of U.S. soymeal - transportation issues were beginning to put U.S. soymeal at a competitive disadvantage in the Philippines. He says it used to be all U.S. soymeal had to go through the Gulf of Mexico - a process that could take 40 to 45 days.
