U.S., S. American Growers Joint Trade Mission to India

Meeting at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) with representatives of Ruchi Soya Industries, a major soy business house and the largest soybean oil imported in India.
G. Chandrashekhar, reporter for The Hindu Business Line, addresses growers from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and the United States.

Gateway to India was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Bombay in December 1911. The foundations were completed in 1920, and construction was finished in 1924.
