ASA Achievement Awards

ASA Seeking Nominations
For 2011 Awards

The American Soybean Association (ASA) is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Special Meritorious Award, Lifetime Achievement Award (Membership Focus), and the Lifetime Achievement Award (Association Focus). All nominations must be in writing and received no later than Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. To nominate an ASA member, download a copy of the Award Nomination Form.

Send completed nominations to Rita Hiscocks, ASA Manager of Membership and State Relations, at rhiscocks@soy.org or fax to (314) 576-2786. Members of the ASA Membership and Corporate Relations Committee will make the final selection at the December ASA Board meeting in St. Louis. The awards will be presented at the ASA Awards Banquet, scheduled for Friday, March 4 during the Commodity Classic to be held in Tampa, Fla., March 3 to 5, 2010.

In 2010, Neil Strong of Syngenta received the Special Meritorious Award. Robert Nelsen of Westbrook, Minn. received the Lifetime Achievement Award (Membership Focus), and Al Ambrose of CHS Incorporated received the Lifetime Achievement Award (Association Focus).
