Joe Steiner, a soybean producer from Mason, Ohio, is Vice
President of the American Soybean Association (ASA). He is Chairman of ASA's
Membership & Corporate Relations Committee. He has also served on ASA's Public
Affairs Committee and ASA's Trade Policy & International Affairs Committee in
2007-2008.
Steiner has been a member of the Ohio Soybean Association since 1995 and served as that organization's President in 2001-2002. He also served the organization as Vice President of the Communication (1999-2000) and Membership (1997-1998) Committees.
Steiner served as a County President for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation in 1993-1994 and has been a 4-H Adviser for eight years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Ohio State University.
Steiner's hobbies and activities include teaching Sunday school and indoor soccer.
The American Soybean Association is a national, not-for-profit, grassroots membership
organization that develops and implements policies to increase the profitability of its
members and the entire soybean industry.
