Farm Description:
Randy is a 3rd generation
farmer from South Central Kentucky. Upon his father retiring in 2006,
Randy and Anne formed their partnership, Seldom Rest Farms – a name that
truly reflects their operation. Randy continually strives to be a better,
smarter and responsible farmer. That goal can be attributed to a strong
work ethic and pride in agriculture that was instilled through his parents
as well as his association with the American Soybean
Association. Currently, their family farm operation is comprised of 2,500
acres of soybeans, wheat, corn, barley, alfalfa and feeder cattle. When
not helping on the farm, Anne is a marketing consultant for animal
agriculture based organizations and companies. And contrary to most
beliefs, it really can snow in Southern Kentucky!
