Photo: Tom Johnson has chosen to show a photo of his grandson, Owen
Johnson. Owen is 27 months old and lives with his mommy, Elizabeth and
daddy, Brent Johnson of Springfield, Illinois. He loves his farm toys,
likes to wrestle with his dad, frequently asks, "Whatcha doin' dad?" and
together they like to watch farming videos on U Tube.
Farm Description: Johnson Family Farms is at least a 6th generation
corn and soybean farm in the Ashland, Pleasant Plains, west central
Illinois area. Grandpa Tom was the president of the American Soybean
Development Foundation is 1988, a precursor to the current national
soybean checkoff program.
