Farm Description:
I am a first generation
farmer. I grew up in town and started farming at age 15 with a John Deere
B. I now farm with my wife, two sons, and son in-law who has just joined
the operation. We raise 2,400 acres of soybeans, corn, hay and small
grains. We also custom finish 9,000 hogs per year and have 110 cow calf
pairs and feed out the calves. We are active in the community,
with my wife and I both on the Cannon Valley Fair Board and the Goodhue
Co. Pork Producers Board. Nancy is also on
the Goodhue County FSA Committee.
