Farm Description: We operate a row-crop operation consisting of winter wheat, soybeans, double-crop soybeans, corn, grain sorghum, sunflowers and sugar beets as a trial biomass crop in Tennessee since 1983. After earning his MBA, our oldest son Alex started a custom-spraying and planting operation and joined our farm 3 years ago. In 2010 we had the privilege to represent Tennessee at the ASA/DuPont Young Leader Program in Iowa and California at Commodity Classic.
