Farm Description: First generation, Carl Oskar Carlson, immigrated to the U.S.A. in early 1900s. C.O. purchased his first farm in Polk County, Nebraska in 1915. Second generation, Carl Ragner Carlson, born in 1907, took over C.O.'s land in 1960. Rags flew a 1939 Piper J3 Cub for his custom aerial spraying. Third generation, Ronald LeClair, purchased a farm from Grandfather C.O. in 1955. Fourth generation, James Douglas and Steve Lee, each bought 240 acres of farmland from Grandfather C.R. in 1978. Ron, Jim and Steve farmed together until Steve's death in 1985. Fifth generation, Lucas James joined Jim in 2007 after graduation from NW Missouri State. Sixth generation, Creighton Robert was born on October 17, 2009.
